Biggest ski resort entirely located in Switzerland

In the heart of the splendid Valais region in Switzerland, Nendaz and Veysonnaz are idyllic destinations offering breathtaking views of the Rhône Valley and granting access to the 4 Vallées, the country’s largest ski domain. With over 400 km of slopes catering to all skill levels, these winter paradises guarantee exceptional experiences. Snow is assured from November to April, providing optimal skiing conditions.

The Mont-Fort, situated at an altitude of 3,330 meters and accessible by cable cars, offers an extraordinary panoramic view of the Alps, including iconic peaks like the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. Since December 2022, a new panoramic platform has been installed at the summit, making the experience even more memorable. Adrenaline enthusiasts can also zoom down the zipline from the highest departure point in Europe, offering a dizzying descent of 1.4 km at speeds reaching nearly 100 km/h.

Veysonnaz, in particular, is a preferred venue for internationally renowned skiing competitions, having hosted more than 30 World Cup events. Professional athletes eagerly tackle the legendary Piste de l’Ours, a 2 km descent winding through dense forests, sometimes reaching a steep incline of 51 degrees. This slope derives its name from the bears that once inhabited these majestic woods.

For those who prefer non-skiing activities, an authentic experience awaits. They can join a snowshoe hike through picturesque forests, followed by a tasting of a renowned local specialty: raclette prepared over an open fire.

Nendaz and Veysonnaz invite you to indulge in moments of pure bliss amidst the Swiss nature. Immerse yourself in these breathtaking landscapes and savor unforgettable adventures in this corner of alpine paradise.
