Women should realize their full potential – even on their Swiss vacations. That’s why, on International Women’s Day, Switzerland Tourism (ST) launched the initiative 100% Women.

Created by women for women, with the aim of connecting them and giving them perspectives on new experiences. This especially in outdoor and mountain sports, which has great importance especially during and after the pandemic.

As part of the 100% Women Peak Challenge, ST is joining forces with the Swiss Alpine Club SAC, the Swiss Mountain Guides Association and Mammut to call on female mountaineers to climb all 48 of Switzerland’s four-thousand-meter peaks over the course of six months – in women-only rope teams.

More than 230 Switzerland-wide tourism offers with a female focus and guides enable all women to become part of 100% Women.
