V-Project by Jungfrau Railways

Starting on 14 December 2019, the journey from Grindelwald to the Männlichen will only take 18 minutes. That’s quite an improvement from before. We are seeing the first glimpse of the future, which will fully reach us in 2019/2020.
By then, the V-cableway will be complete. It is being made possible by the Jungfrau Railways.

A tri-cable aerial cableway will take visitors to the Eiger Glacier and ten-seater aerial gondolas will travel to the Männlichen, both starting from a joint terminal in Grindelwald Grund. Et voilà, now the name makes sense too.

Eigervision – the Eiger northface experience

When clients ask you for something out of the box, this is it!
Go to Grindelwald, the so called Eiger village. Get on a train which rides through winterly landscapes and continues through a tunnel inside the Eiger Mountain. In the middle, the train will stop and let only your group and the mountain guides get off.

Go to Grindelwald, the so called Eiger village. Get on a train which rides through winterly landscapes and continues through a tunnel inside the Eiger Mountain. In the middle, the train will stop and let only your group and the mountain guides get off. You will see some kind of window on the side of the tunnel wall. As soon as it’s opened, an icy air stream will blow across your face. Get your harness and helmet on, climb up a few steps up and look around. You stand in the middle of the majestic Eiger North Face. This feeling is indescribable and will not be forgotten in a lifetime.
