1. Traveling to Switzerland

Please note the following important changes to the travel restrictions:

2. COVID certificate

As of October 25, 2021, the Swiss Federal council requires all people vaccinated outside of the EU (including tourists from the U.S. and Canada) to apply for the Swiss vaccination certificate in order to enter indoor venues in Switzerland.

Should your clients already possess an EU COVID certificate issued by an EU country this will also be accepted in Switzerland and there is no need to apply for the Swiss COVID certificate.

Please note the following important information in regards of the Swiss COVID certificate:

3. Vaccinations recognized by Switzerland

*Anyone who has been vaccinated with a vaccine that is authorized in Switzerland (Swissmedic) or the EU (EMA) or who is on the WHO list can enter Switzerland without a test or quarantine. As of now, all vaccines authorized in the U.S. and Canada are recognized by Switzerland. Currently the original proof of vaccination (e.g. U.S. – CDC card / Canada – PHA letter) is required to be presented when boarding the plane.
