After the warm temperatures and difficult snow conditions of late 2022, most of Switzerland’s ski areas are once again boasting large quantities of fresh snow. Current snowfall throughout the country is bringing back Swiss winter in all its glory, right down to low elevations. And in collaboration with winter destinations, Switzerland Tourism (ST) has launched a new webpage combining live cams from all over Switzerland and prompting interest in hitting the ski slopes, sledding or hiking winter mountain trails.
Winter sports lovers have eagerly looked forward to this. Snowfalls of recent days – even at low elevations – are creating ideal conditions for winter sports and other fun in the snow, all across the country. ST’s new webpage was developed so that winter enthusiasts may, easily and at any time, get an idea of the snow cover blanketing Switzerland.
Visit www.myswitzerland.com/snowticker for a map of Switzerland displaying the webcams of most ski areas. Live images reveal that mountain snow conditions are excellent right now. Additionally, in partnership with various ski areas, ST has assembled current photos and videos, inspiration to immediately get a taste of winter sports pleasure.
