At this year’s Switzerland Travel Mart (STM), Switzerland Tourism’s most important travel trade event, held in 2019 in Lucerne, three North American tour operators were awarded the Gold Flower Award: TAUCK and EuroBound from the United States and Goway from Canada.

The coveted biannual award is given out to reward innovation, a high level of professionalism and outstanding cooperation in connection with the promotion and sales of tours to Switzerland. “After a record-breaking year in 2018, the overnights are exceeding our expectations with a growth of 9.7% for the United States and 3.2% for Canada (January to August) so far this year. We are thrilled that the cooperation between ST and its partners generate the perfect products to stimulate desire and showcase Switzerland at its best. With the Gold Flower Awards we recognize the most innovative Tour Operators” says Claudio Zemp, Director Americas of Switzerland
Tourism.
