The Million Stars Hotel was launched in 2020 and offers the most unique places to stay in Switzerland. Guests can choose to sleep outdoors, under a glass roof or behind a large glass facade in various locations spread over the country. All offers promise a clear view of the starry sky and are all highly original. Depending on the altitude and type of accommodation most offers are bookable for stays from the beginning of July to the end of October.

Aletsch Cube on Eggishorn: Staying in a cosy cube overlooking the 20km long Great Aletsch Glacier at 2,800 m.a.s.l. while gazing the stars as far away from light pollution as possible is truly a once in a lifetime experience. The cube can be easily reached by cable car and overlooks the Matterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. For an even more unique experience, guests can watch the sunset relaxing in the hot tub, while enjoying a glass of fine local wine. Guests can enjoy the sunrise to the sound of a traditional alphorn on Fridays.

Rooftop Bubble Suite by Widder: An overnight stay overlooking the city of Zurich, high above the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city and under the stars in a Bubble Suite on the rooftop is one of the Hotel Widder’s latest offers. On a clear night, the bubble offers a distant view of the Alps. The small but excellent hotel in the heart of Zurich offers its guests luxury, lifestyle and a warm welcome – a home away from home in Zurich.

Mountain Island in Oberems: High above the Rhône Valley, a little way off from the village of Oberems is the wildly romantic Turtmann Valley, where visitors get the feeling that they are a little closer to the sky. The B&B Berginsel offers a bed under the night sky overlooking the valley. With the breathtaking view, easygoing hospitality and homemade Valais specialities, guests can slow down and recharge their batteries.
