Travelling out to Switzerland.

All travellers are required to check the current travel and entry conditions on the Federal Travel Check website

There are no longer any Covid-19 restrictions for travellers arriving from the UK & Ireland into Switzerland.

From 2 May, the Swiss government is removing all countries from the SEM high risk list. This means that unvaccinated British travellers can once again enter Switzerland! This includes anyone whose covid pass has expired at the time of travel because they had their vaccine or booster more than nine months ago.

The validity period of all vaccination certificates was shortened from 365 to 270 days. Certificates issued as proof of recovery from Covid-19 are also only valid for 270 days.

Further details can be found in the media releases from the Swiss Federal Council:

Clean and safe.

The Swiss tourism industry launched a ‘Clean & Safe’ campaign. The campaign, consisting of an information platform and a label, was initiated by Switzerland Tourism as part of its ‘Recovery Plan’.

The ‘Clean & Safe’ label signifies to guests that tourism service providers have made a conscious commitment to comply with protection guidelines. The information platform provides deeper insights into concrete measures taken. The aim is to strengthen guests’ confidence in Switzerland as a clean and safe travel destination.
